I see.

Video vidi visum is Latin for the verb “to see.”


That at least is the hope.


In a life that is often too full of things like work and obligation and distraction, here is a place where I slow down to really look, consider, observe and, with any luck, understand.

      Thanks Paul. Total moment of serendipity. I was in this village to visit a ruin of the San Galgan monastery and then check out this little chapel. The chapel had a sword embedded in the stone, which was cool, but then I turned around to head back out and saw this. Breathtaking. As a bonus, three kittens were playing right outside the door so I got to take in that view while they climbed all over me.
